Aperture Neuro Special Issue on “Open Datasets: Impact, Infrastructure, and Governance”
Are you conducting neuroscience research using open datasets? Do you have insights into the opportunities and challenges that open data presents? If so, this is a unique opportunity to publish your work in a special issue.
Aperture Neuro, in collaboration with the OHBM Open Science Special Interest Group, is excited to announce a special issue focused on the critical role of open datasets in neuroscience. With the growing importance of data sharing and reuse, this issue aims to highlight the impact of open neuroimaging datasets in advancing research, while also addressing the infrastructure, ethical, legal, and governance challenges they present.
We invite submissions on a range of topics including, but not limited to:
- Impact and sustainability of data repositories
- Data governance
- Open data platforms and tools
- Transparency and reporting standards
- Ethical and legal challenges in open science
- Global trends in open data practices
We welcome original research, reviews, case studies, methodological papers, short communications, and code submissions.
